Winter Activites at Reservoirs

With shorter days and cooler weather of late fall the recreational pursuits undertaken on irrigation reservoirs during the winter months change.  Ice and snow on reservoirs allow skating, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and of course ice fishing.  Before venturing out onto any frozen waterbody, including irrigation reservoirs, it is important for everyone to review and follow critical ice safety tips.  More information on Ice Safety can be found at
