Bird Watching

One of the fastest growing hobbies in North America is bird watching. Southern Alberta’s many irrigation-created wetlands are an ideal spot to view and hear birds in their natural setting. Bird watching is a hobby that is easy to participate in. It only requires a pair of binoculars, possibly a camera and definitely patience. Bird watchers visiting the Kinbrook Marsh just south of Brooks, Alberta can expect to see over 250 species of birds at this one location over the course of a year.
